We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Superintendent to join our dynamic team and lead the execution of our upcoming projects.Job Description:As a Senior Superintendent, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of multifamily wood-frame projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. You will collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, field crews, and clients to ensure smooth project execution and a seamless experience for all stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage all on-site activities for wood-frame multifamily projects, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and in accordance with project plans and specifications.Supervise and direct on-site construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards.Monitor daily construction activities and ensure the project is progressing according to plan, making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines.Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.Manage project budgets and ensure cost control measures are implemented.Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies and conducting regular site inspections.Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications, and coordinate any changes or design revisions with the project team.Maintain clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and subcontractors.Prepare and submit progress reports and schedules to upper management.Troubleshoot and resolve any construction-related issues or challenges in a timely manner.Mentor and develop junior superintendents and other site staff, providing guidance and training as needed.Qualifications:Minimum 8+ years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years as a superintendent, specifically on wood-frame multifamily residential projects.Proven track record of successfully managing the construction of large-scale multifamily projects from start to finish.Extensive knowledge of construction processes, codes, regulations, and safety standards.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, project teams, and subcontractors.Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in construction management software, Procore or similar tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred).Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred, but not required).Why Join Us?Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work with a reputable, self-performing developer known for its high-quality, impactful projects.Strong company culture that promotes professional development and career growth.Chance to take ownership of significant projects and contribute to the Boston skyline.A collaborative and supportive team environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
