The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership, organizational, and technical skills, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site position with a competitive salary, benefits, and relocation assistance. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage all on-site construction activities for commercial and multi-residential projects.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Quality Control:
- Oversee work to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and resolve construction issues promptly.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality construction that meets or exceeds client expectations.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor on-site personnel, including subcontractors and labor crews.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Hold daily and weekly site meetings to align team objectives and address any challenges.
- Safety Management:
- Enforce compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Conduct safety audits and provide corrective measures as necessary.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, schedules, and cost tracking.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress and potential risks.
- Manage change orders and communicate any adjustments to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Superintendent in commercial and multi-residential construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
