Edwards Construction Group is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent Level 3 to join our team. As a Superintendent Level 3, you will manage multiple projects with a total annual billing of $15 million or more. You will also be responsible for overseeing other superintendents and their projects to ensure they are efficient and laid out properly, as well as training and mentoring them. Job Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects with a total annual billing of $15 million or more
- Oversee other superintendents and their projects to ensure they are efficient and laid out properly, as well as train and mentor them
- Master all Procore duties and be able to train others completely, identify issues with the way Procore is set up, and work to update as required
- Great knowledge of Project Management, Estimating, and Site Superintendent duties and able to manage a project on your own completely if required
- Create and update a .mpp schedule
- Track and review Submittals
- Price and negotiate PCO and CCO and manage the process from Change Event through Commitment Change Order
- Post updates and RFI to Procore
- Negotiate all cost-related items completely and effectively to protect from any back charges or Liquidated Damages
- Keep the project moving forward at all times and document and push Owner/Architect to provide accurate responses before creating delays
- Maintain an updated 3-week look ahead weekly, contact all subs weekly and monitor progress, track delays accurately and identify responsible party, and proactively ask for upper management assistance before any scheduling problems arise
- Maintain daily logs completely and accurately at all times, especially; manpower, delays, equipment, dumpsters, phone call log, notes, visitors, deliveries
- Communicate and track all cost and time impacts quickly to your PM
- Promote innovation and be a champion for our company
- Provide a safe and compliant site, promoting and encouraging safety and a collaborative environment
- Foster positive relationships with subcontractors and IOR
Job Requirements:
- 10 plus years in management of public works construction
- 2 years minimum learning our system
- Ability to manage multiple projects with a total annual billing of $15 million or more
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills
- Great organizational skills and communication
- Master of all Procore duties
- Strong knowledge of Project Management, Estimating, and Site Superintendent duties
- Negotiation skills to protect from any back charges or Liquidated Damages
- Ability to keep the project moving forward at all times and proactively ask for upper management assistance before any scheduling problems arise
- Ability to maintain daily logs completely and accurately at all times
- Foster positive relationships with subcontractors and IOR
Salary and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000 plus a vehicle and gas card.
