Job Description:
Welcome to a great opportunity with a company that hires hundreds of military personnel, with many of those now in key leadership roles. This client is looking for a skilled operations technician to work on construction projects for the installation of cryogenic systems. Principal responsibilities:- Installation and maintenance of bulk cryogenic and non-cryogenic systems to include nitrogen, Oxygen, argon, CO2, hydrogen, and helium systems in the assigned coverage area-Utilize your primary mechanical skills include piping/plumbing work on cryogenic systems, brazing, welding, troubleshooting and installation of valves and regulators, and basic electrical troubleshooting, they can train you on some of these things you may not have- Be the face of the company with customers, providing key customer technical support during the start of a new bulk installation contract or an upgrade at site location- Act as a technical resource accompanying the sales organization on customer calls - Responsible for managing resources and third-party contractor resources during the installation on site - Responsible for holding daily Toolbox Talks and executing all safety requirements during installs - Work with CES project managers to ensure all appropriate equipment is ordered so that installations can proceed safely and efficiently, meeting appropriate regional code requirements - Assure proper on-site labor resources are organized and available for the installation - Work with CES regional maintenance and service managers to ensure site layout and installation meets maintenance and delivery needs while adhering to North American best practices - Work to implement solutions as directed by Messer standards and qualified engineer resources - Assist project managers to provide site integration quotes for customers - Track time and materials on projects and enter data into appropriate company systems - Manage scope of work on-site and escalate scope changes as appropriate - Provide project management and coordination for customers as neededBase pay, with an average 15 hours of overtime a week.
