Description The Waldinger Corporation, a growing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and Sheet Metal industry leader is looking for a Construction Technology Supervisor to join our PreConstruction team! This role will oversee the successful set-up, configuration, and ongoing management of construction software systems. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that the software aligns with our organizational needs and enhances our MEP construction processes. This includes setting standards and coordinating with internal teams. Responsibilities:
- Works closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translates them into the appropriate software configurations. Helps to lead the deployment process, including software installation, database setup, and customizations. Ensures seamless integration with existing systems and data sources.
- Develops training materials and conducts sessions for end users. Provides ongoing support to users, addressing configuration-related queries and troubleshooting issues.
- Oversees data migration and ensures data accuracy within construction software systems. Collaborates with BIM/VDC teams to maintain consistent data standards.
- Implements/Manages change control processes to manage software updates, enhancements, and modifications. Communicate changes to relevant and ensure smooth transitions.
- Monitors system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize configurations. Works with technical teams to fine-tune settings for optimal efficiencies.
- Collaborates with software developers and vendors to address configuration-related issues. Maintains detailed documentation on configurations, customizations, and best practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in in technology-related field or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years in a construction technology support-related position
- Be able to travel occasionally
