Founded in 1950, Lane Gorman Trubitt, LLC is a middle-market, regional public accounting firm located in the Uptown neighborhood of Dallas, TX. We are affiliated with PrimeGlobal, an association of independent accounting firms. Currently, LGT has around 140 employees working in various service lines including assurance/audit, tax, accounting and consulting services. Perform diversified accounting related assignments under the direction of senior consultant, director, principal or partner.Essential Functions:-Collaborate with clients to understand their accounting needs and objectives. -Perform day-to-day accounting functions, including bookkeeping and reconciliations. -Generate financial statements and reports for client review. -Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial processes. -Stay informed about accounting regulations and industry best practices. -Prepare payroll, property, and sales & use tax returns. -Meet time budgets and client deadlines.Required Experience and Skills:-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or comparable (1-3 years) public accounting experience or, industry related experience. -Understanding of proper accounting processes, procedures and workflow in daily accounting operations. -Current knowledge of Microsoft Office, QuickBooks Online and accounting software a plus. -Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. -Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities applicable to a client-facing environment. -Ability to work effectively within a client-focused team. -Ability to establish workload priorities and perform assigned tasks in a timely manner.Other Information:-Required to be in-office (Uptown Dallas) or at local client sites 2-3 days per week, flexible daily schedule. -Title and compensation based on applicable experience (Consultant, Senior Consultant etc.) -Compensation based on working 2300 total hours annually, inclusive of PTO, holidays, training etc. -Occasional overtime required during spring/fall busy seasons.$75,000 - $100,000 a yearIf you're looking for a position to jump-start your career in an influential and established firm where you can gain experience with multiple clients and industries, this is the place for you.
