The Human Resources Consultant will work in partnership with the Sr. Director of Human Resources and other members of the Human Resources team to accomplish specific objectives relating to employee relations and employee engagement. The HR consultant will partner with leaders to provide expertise, advice, guidance, planning and support, and will work closely with Human Resources Leadership to make sure that the scope and direction is supported. Part time employee relations - serve as a primary contact for employee relation issues, providing guidance in conflict resolution, coaching, disciplinary action, investigations, and policy interpretation, ensuring compliance with all local, state and federal laws and company policies. Work Schedule: This position is casual and while the hours will vary, they are day hours (M-F) and expected to average 20 hour per week. This is a hybrid position, with ability to work from home the majority of the time, however, occasional on-site work is needed. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of professional level Human Resource experience required Must be an experienced HR professional with wide-ranging experience with ability to apply comprehensive knowledge and application of business concepts, procedures and practices to advise and resolve complex issues in creative ways Ability to problem solve, manage multiple issues, and follow investigative steps for complex issues while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism Will be recognized as an expert within your service area Works without appreciable direction Ability to gather information, communicate effectively and provide support to all levels of employees and leaders within the organization Minimum 3 years professional experience specifically managing employee relation issues Preferred Qualifications: Healthcare/hospital environment experience preferred Benefits: Lakeview Hospital offers a competitive benefits package (.5 FTE or greater) that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, 401k with match, disability insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
