The Consumer Credit Director will lead a team dedicated to developing, implementing, and enhancing credit risk oversight processes in support of the overall Corporate Risk Management framework for all consumer lending lines of business. This role involves direct communication of current issues and credit risk strategies via the Credit Policy and Strategy Committee. Key responsibilities include evaluating and monitoring consumer credit risk appetite, tolerance, and thresholds, as well as overseeing credit and operational risk assessments, delinquency/loss mitigation, enforcement of credit risk policies, and portfolio monitoring. The Consumer Credit Director will collaborate with the first line of defense to shape the consumer credit risk profile across all products. Additionally, the director will manage the Default Services team, overseeing collection activities, credit reporting, and consumer bankruptcy management.
