DescriptionWe are seeking several Customer Service Representatives to join our client's team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a reputable financial services organization. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, where you will be expected to handle a high volume of inbound andoutbound calls, providing exceptional customer service to our customers. The main function of this role includes processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries.The right candidate should be outgoing, upbeat, and friendly. They also must have a positive work ethic and must work well in a team environment.Responsibilities:- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, identifying customer needs and providing product/service information.- Resolve customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.- Perform tasks such as refund requests, dispute handling, payoff quotes, and process stop payments.- Provide basic troubleshooting support for online banking products and services such as password resets, mobile banking, and bill payments.- Act as a liaison between the branch and customer, taking ownership of service requests.- Promote banking products and services by identifying customer needs and providing appropriate offerings.- Update account changes and submit credit card limit increase inquiries.- Address customer complaints in a professional and effective manner.- Build sustainable relationships with customers by displaying a friendly demeanor and exceptional customer service.- Work some holidays and weekends, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the role.Must be flexible to work the following hours. shifts will rotate and must be able to work late nights and weekends!Schedule/Hours- Monday thru Friday 7:45AM-9PM- Saturdays and Sundays 7:45AM -5PM- FT - 5 days a week, 40 hours a week with varying shifts (7:45AM-5, 9AM-6, 10AM-7, 12PM-9) + rotating weekend shifts.- 90 Day Training Period in which your schedule will be Monday - Friday 7:45AM-5PM (Full Time only)Requirements - Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.- Proven experience as a Customer Service Representative or similar role.- Proficiency in using computers, both for data entry, as well as for rapid navigation through systems and the internet to aid in customer research and problem-solving.- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members.- Experience with answering inbound calls in a high-volume environment.- Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm and professional.- Must have a customer-oriented approach and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.- Ability to identify and understand customer needs to deliver high customer satisfaction.- Must have a strong work ethic and be punctual.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
