The property is also home to the Bellevue Club Hotel, a luxury 66-room boutique hotel, and a full-service spa with cutting-edge wellness offerings.This job description is intended as an outline of the basic job duties and requirements.Position Overview:The Content Coordinator & Magazine Editor serves as the primary editor and writer for the magazine while also coordinating and managing content across all platforms. This role is responsible for overseeing the editorial direction of each magazine issue, from gathering content ideas to curating proposed content, cover to cover. Reporting to the Communications Director, this position ensures editorial excellence and brand consistency in both print and digital formats. This postion is 100% onsite.Essential Functions:Magazine:
  • Lead writer and editor responsible for all aspects of the magazine's content, collaborating closely with the Art Director to ensure a cohesive editorial and visual experience.
  • Own the content planning for each magazine issue, including gathering and curating content ideas from concept to completion, cover to cover.
  • Edit, write, and proofread magazine copy, adhering to AP style and brand voice guidelines.
  • Work with writers, photographers, and designers to curate high-quality content that resonates with the target audience.
  • Coordinate photo shoots, interviews, and track production deadlines for each magazine issue.
Content Coordinator:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain content calendars for various platforms, including social media and email.
  • Write, edit, and curate event-related content for email campaigns.
  • Build, design, and send marketing emails using provided templates, ensuring brand consistency and quality.
  • Manage content publishing on digital platforms and ensure timely execution.
Marketing & Communications:
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications team members to create impactful written content across various channels, ensuring copy considers user experience and the user journey from one touchpoint to the next.
  • Maintain brand voice consistency across print and digital platforms, ensuring seamless transitions between editorial and marketing content that align with the user journey.
  • Develop and maintain brand voice guidelines for written communications that support the overall user experience.
  • Assist with internal and external communications as needed, including press releases and newsletters.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Participate in marketing meetings to brainstorm content ideas.
  • May compose and send press releases.
  • Assist with managing the magazine's production schedule and budget
  • Stay informed about trends and best practices in content creation, social media marketing, and email marketing.
  • Proofread various materials and assist management with communication tasks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in editorial roles, with a focus on magazine production.
  • Proven experience in creating engaging print and digital content.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and social media management platforms.
  • Understanding of SEO principles is a plus.
