Content Writer and Editor
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 3-Month (Contract)
Pay Rate: $40-45/hr W2 (Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, LTD Insurance)
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Content Writer and Editor who thrives in a fast-paced, globally distributed team environment. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled communicator with a passion for creating engaging and accessible content on complex topics. This person will play a key role in supporting the end-to-end production of content, collaborating across various teams, and helping to shape brand and content strategies.
What You'll Do:
- Ghost-writing and editing articles, blogs, and other content on behalf of stakeholders, partners, and portfolio companies.
- Managing the production process for digital content, ensuring smooth execution from concept to publication.
- Handling visual assets such as stock images and graphics to enhance content.
- Coordinating necessary approvals prior to publishing content.
- Publishing articles across internal and external platforms.
- Attending industry-related events and providing insightful summaries.
- Contributing to the development and execution of brand and content strategies.
- Writing web copy, marketing emails, social media posts, and other promotional materials as needed.
What You Bring:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience creating and managing digital marketing content.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to provide work samples.
- Proven ability to simplify and convey complex technical topics for a broad audience.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to work both strategically and tactically, quickly learning new concepts.
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills across various functions.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content management systems.
- Knowledge of finance or technology is a plus.
