External applicants must be eligible to work in the US.Your RoleThe Continuous Improvement (CI) Black Belt will serve as the subject-matter expert in Process Improvement Activity and Techniques through the use of CI tools to accomplish an assigned improvement objective in a specific organization. These individuals are able to drive, motivate and execute change initiatives as change facilitators, CI tool mentors and coaches on an ongoing basis.The CI Black Belt will advocate for new ways of doing things, challenge conventional wisdom by introducing and demonstrating proven strategies. The individual will continuously coach others on the value of using the tools, the impact of having optimal processes and systems, the vision of how to get there, and most importantly, how it results in increased productivity and higher satisfaction for customers and employees.* Works closely with Operations, Asset, and Commercial managers to incorporate an integrated set of business improvement methodologies and tools into their core operating cadence to execute the prioritized improvement initiatives.* Develops the process/ initiative improvement opportunities across Operations and leads significant process improvement project teams and provides expert advice on the implementation of Lean Six Sigma* Make sure repeatable and quantifiable quality performance of our suppliers.* Continuous process improvement in High Volume Manufacturing systems* Ability to Implement Fully functional stable ops processes in a manufacturing setting.* Ensure supply chain robustness thru utilization of Black Belt Tools* Eliminate non-conformance thru optimization of Processes.* Improve yield and process speed/ Eliminate touch time.* Improve distribution and logistics efficiency.* Reach production capacity of Critical Assets* Assist Operations Management Team in the identification and development of project pipeline, goal cascading and prioritization, and improvement of KPI.* Ensure effective use of data analysis tools and techniques to help support Production Engineering Performance* Develop and Track plant Key Performance Indicators* Create, motivate and facilitate team collaboration across organizations to deliver on objectives.* Utilize the Multi Generation Productivity Planning Tool.Who You AreMinimum Qualifications:* 5+ years of Lean Six Sigma experienced.* Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or other engineering discipline.Preferred Qualifications:* Black Belt Certification Achieved or Green Belt in training to be Black Belt.* Skills include experienced in operations (manufacturing, supply chain) excellence, new product/ process development and commercial process improvements.* Experienced leading business assigned LSS projects with significant results, including demonstration of strong influencing, coaching, communication and facilitative skills; ability to bring teams together to achieve targets and goals.* Proven proficiency in multiple application of statistics and lean tools.RSREMDWhat we offer: We are curious minds that come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
