Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Continuous Improvement Coordinator to drive process improvements and enhance operational efficiency. This role focuses on implementing Lean methodologies, conducting Kaizen events, and creating comprehensive process documentation. The ideal candidate will thrive in a cross-functional environment, have strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrate a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and lead Kaizen events and Lean process improvement initiatives.
- Provide training and support for teams on Lean methodologies and Six Sigma principles.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation for manufacturing processes, particularly for pouching lines.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with SQF standards in a manufacturing environment, particularly within food and beverage operations.
- Support and drive automation and assembly equipment efficiency, including pouches and automatic bag-making processes.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with SQF standards (experience in food and beverage environments is a plus).
- Background in pouching, automatic bag-making, or assembly equipment is highly desirable.
Certifications:
- Six Sigma certification preferred (Yellow or Green Belt minimum; Black Belt is a plus).
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies and Kaizen.
- Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
