The Continuous Improvement Engineer will be responsible for developing, evaluating, documenting, and enhancing process flow and work methods. They will work cross functionally across various departments, driving Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline production processes, increase efficiency, and improve effectiveness. They will be responsible for getting results and ensuring the timely execution of projects aimed at saving costs and enhancing overall operations.
- Collaborate with teams to explore cost-saving opportunities.
- Work to evaluate processes, sharing best practices, and keep our operations running smoothly.
- Create clear documentation, ensuring everyone understands and can follow procedures effectively.
- Lead in finding and implementing strategies to cut waste from production processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Two or more years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Two or more years' experience utilizing continuous improvement tools and activities.
- Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma a plus
- Demonstrated ability to use structured problem-solving techniques.
