We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Green Belt to spearhead the continuous improvement projects at our facility. If you have successful 3PL (Third-party Logistics) industrial or continuous improvement engineering experience and are motivated by being a key player in Lean Six or Kaizen projects consider joining Kuehne+Nagel in West Jefferson, OH.Your RoleIn this role, you will utilize Lean Six Sigma Knowledge for continuous improvement project execution. The Continuous Improvement Green Belt is the most active promoter of the continuous improvement culture across the site locally.Your ResponsibilitiesYou will manage the site'sContinuous Improvement (CI) program for quality and productivity,including the management of Kaizen activities and Lean Six projectsPresent project portfoliosresulting from the Value Stream Analysis activityAlign projects and CI activity tomeet both Production System Savings targets and the region's productivityimprovement targets.Ensure savings for the site arevalidated with financial controllers and data integrity is maintainedYou will support the development ofproductivity management tools within the region to ensure measurement andmonitoring of productivity at process and site levelsSupport operations in thedevelopment of Kuehne and Nagel Excellence levels in the region from Bluethrough GoldYou will work with the RegionalBlack Belt in the development and coaching of the Lean Six Sigma Yellowand Green BeltsSome travel will be necessary from timeto time for training and classesYour Skills and ExperiencesDegree in Supply Chain, IndustrialEngineering, or equivalent work experienceLean Six Green BeltContinuous Improvement experiencefor 3 - 5 years5 years in a WarehousingenvironmentProject Management experiencefor 2- 5 yearsAbility to travel for training andclasses as neededGood Reasons to JoinThere has never been a better time to work in logistics.
