Job DescriptionThe Ensign-Bickford Operating System (EBOS) Leader is part of the Global Diagnostic Solutions Group EBOS team and a key member of the EnviroLogix Operations leadership team. They will implement and sustain the Ensign-Bickford Operating System across the business units. They will be responsible for collaborating cross-functionally and with the leadership team to ensure successful implementation while being a driver of culture change.Responsibilities include:
  • Own the planning, facilitation, implementation, and sustainment of Lean tools and Kaizen activities in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Growth
  • Facilitate EBOS training and development roadmap for Business Unit Leadership Team and key individuals
  • Develop Operations Managers' skills through effective coaching, teaching, and mentoring
  • Support the training and education of manufacturing and other functional teams in the application of EBOS tools
  • Challenge the status quo and guiding leadership team in the identification of cross-functional and cross-cultural improvement opportunities
  • Provide proactive support and facilitation with BU leadership in the development of strategy deployment plan, as well as action plans, operational KPIs, and effective root cause countermeasures
  • Incorporate EBOS culture in all business growth and execution activities
  • Leveraging data and results to develop business cases for change; measuring process improvement performance against targets
  • Establish appropriate infrastructure and related processes for documenting and validating improvements
  • Provide Kaizen-related training; contributing to training material contents
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years of related work experience in progressively responsible roles including those in Lean, Operations, Supply Chain, and/or General Management
  • Proven track record of successfully driving breakthrough results and growth in Manufacturing/ Supply Chain and Commercial functions through lean leadership
  • Demonstrated experience with Lean tools including Strategy Deployment, Value Stream Mapping, 6S, Standard Work, FMEA, Problem Solving, Kanban, Visual Daily Management, 80/20
  • Experience leading improvement initiatives with an emphasis on problem solving
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, influencing, and communication skills
  • Ability to engage with all levels of the organization globally, including training of peers as well as executives
