  • Support plant manager and the area managers in the definition of short term and long term Continuous Improvement targets
  • Ensure that that each area of the platform develops action plans needed to secure achievement of the plans and support or challenge them in the activity in case of need.
  • Monitor execution of agreed action plans and support, challenge or escalate to plant manager and head of CI in case of deviations that need that.
  • Monitor and challenge plant performance against set targets, identifying and removing roadblocks escalating to plant manager and head of CI in case of deviations that need that
  • Personally drive Kaizen events or training on Continuous Improvement methodologies as needed
  • As member of the integrated platform management team contribute to the overall team development spreading Continuous Improvement approach across the board

  • Certified Lean Six Sigma black belt
  • Minimum of 10 years manufacturing experience
Formal educationBachelor's degree, pulp/paper science or engineering, requiredRequired competenciesCore Competencies
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Must be well organized and highly efficient.
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Excellent facilitation skills and listening skills.
  • Strong team development skills.
  • Knowledge of change management principles.
  • Expert knowledge of Lean and Quality tools, SPC/SQC.
