Our client, one of the largest manufacturers of energy-related equipment for government and commercial customers, is looking for a contract administrative in York, PA. They are a major domestic supplier to the Commercial Nuclear Industry, Department of Energy and Defense, as well as NASA, Naval shipyards, and other industrial and government customers. Job Title: Contract AdministratorLocation: York, PA Salary Range: $70K-$85KHours: 7am-330pm or 8am-430pmWhat's the Job?
- Administrative functions relating to the interpretation of customer contractual requirements and the dissemination of pertinent information necessary to process the work to meet contractual obligations.
- Responsibility to inform the customer regarding contract status and to ensure that billings are promptly issued.
- Responsible to ensure a smooth flow of contractually required information is made to all internal disciplines and to the customer.
- Good to strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to draft basic contractual instruments in accordance with prescribed templates and guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential for this position.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related major, or equivalent specialized training, knowledge, and experience.
- Two (2) to three (3) years general business or contract-related experience is preferred.
- Excellent computer skills required.
- Must have working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft applications, including MS Project
- Basic to working knowledge of contracting concepts, Uniform Commercial Code, applicable international law, or public contract acquisitions law and regulations.
- Contract review experience - 1 year required
- Negoiation experience - 1 year required
- Microsoft Project experience - 1 year required
