Job Type ContractDescriptionPosition: Contract and Data Reporting Specialist (Public Sector & GPS Support)Location: New York, NYType: ContractorOverview:The Contract and Data Reporting Specialist will be responsible for providing GPS (Global Public Sector) contracts and deal execution support, including the generation of key metrics, analysis, and reporting at both operational and strategic levels. This role involves supporting sales and contract management processes, performing gap analysis, and assisting with procurement and contract lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public sector contracts, data analysis, and reporting, with a working knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations.Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement reporting parameters to communicate key information across operational and strategic levels.
- Generate, analyze, and distribute routine and ad-hoc reports using Excel, including the creation of charts and graphs.
- Perform gap analysis between data sources and reporting requirements, identifying necessary data capture improvements.
- Standardize data terminology, date ranges, and other parameters to ensure consistent reporting.
- Provide back-up support to Subcontracts and Procurement Specialists, ensuring timely execution of contract actions.
- Assist with managing GPS contracts with U.S. Federal customers, including task orders, billing, and compliance processes.
- Coordinate with Contracts Managers to communicate contract risks and issues in a timely manner.
- Provide subject matter expertise and support for stakeholders in engineering, sales, and customer organizations, ensuring contractual compliance and resolving contract issues.
- Assist with proposal preparation, risk mitigation, and review of contractual documents.
- Collaborate with internal teams and business development/client relationship managers to ensure contract accuracy and compliance.
- Support cross-organizational initiatives aimed at improving execution and contract administration.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in contract consultation, management, and GPS-related support.
- Experience working with public sector contracts policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree (or an additional 2 years of work experience in lieu of a degree).
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide resolutions and work with customers effectively.
- Self-starter who can work independently and align with clearly defined objectives.
- Working knowledge of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement).
- Experience with various contract types across all lifecycle phases.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of DoD contracting.
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand contractual terms and conditions.
- Certifications in Contract Management (CPCM/CFCM), Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C), or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA).
