What makes this role important at Ipsos?

We are seeking an experienced contract management clerk (Associate Legal Analyst) to assist our North American legal team in maintaining organization within the department and addressing contractual matters for our US and Canadian clients. Responsibilities will include the following: (i) maintaining agreements and files for the North American legal department; (ii) supporting attorneys with drafting and reviewing statements of work and nondisclosure agreements; and (iii) assisting with administrative duties and acting as a point of first contact for the legal department with our North American business teams. To that end, an important assignment would be the maintenance of a workflow tracking log and monitoring of service level compliance standards for the department.

What you can expect to be doing:

  • Maintain department workflow log (incoming and outgoing), including assigning matters to attorneys and monitoring status through completion, including preparation of Service Level reports.
  • Provide information to our commercial teams regarding available forms and processes.
  • Review and negotiate client and vendor NDAs andSOWs.
  • Create and improve our standard forms, processes and policies.
  • Track progress of commercial and litigation matters.
  • Assist Group General Counsel in maintaining and optimizing procedures for the North American legal team.
  • File documentation as it relates to corporate records.
  • Assist with a variety of other day-to-day legal, administrative and clerical matters as needed.

This might be the job for you if you have:

  • At least one (1) year of experience working on commercial contracts in a major law firm and/or an in-house legal department preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in paralegal studies or related field required.
  • Certified notary preferred but not required.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to learn quickly and work independently; ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, ability to work efficiently and productively in a fast-paced high-growth environment.
  • Must be able to willingly accept coaching and feedback as employee develops in the role.
  • Ability to routinely interact with commercial teams with a positive, approachable attitude, and with the capability of appropriately pushing back when required.
  • Ownership of responsibilities and ability to meet deadlines while producing quality work in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and assist on sensitive matters with discretion.

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $70,000 to $75,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
