Job Overview: The Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, from negotiation and execution to compliance and renewal. This role involves working closely with the procurement departments to ensure that all contracts align with company policies and legal requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in contract management and a strong understanding of contract lifecycle management (CLM) software, particularly Ironclad.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.
- Manage the contract lifecycle from initiation to renewal and termination.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, procurement, finance, and operations, to facilitate contract execution and management.
- Maintain accurate and organized contract records and documentation.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any issues or discrepancies.
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters.
- Implement and manage CLM software, with a preference for Ironclad, to streamline contract processes.
- Develop and deliver training programs for staff on contract management best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPCM, CCM) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management.
- Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management (CLM) principles and best practices.
- Preferred experience with CLM software, particularly Ironclad.
- Understanding law verbiage and understand law terms
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
