Contracts Unit Manager - Hollywood, FL

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of contract preparation, review, and monitoring for acquiring goods, materials, and services, including RFPs, RFQs, ITBs, and ITQs.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Legal, Risk Management, and operational departments to ensure seamless contract flow and compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders during contract negotiations and execution.
- Supervise and mentor contract staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead the transition from manual processes to cutting-edge contract management systems, preparing the organization for advanced tools within two years.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field (equivalent education and experience considered).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in contract management.
- Extensive experience in IT and construction contracts preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and contract tracking systems.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Valid Florida Driver's License and flexibility to travel and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
