Position: Contract Marketing Communications Specialist (Part Time)

Location: Atlanta/Hybrid work model

The Opportunity: The Contract Marketing Communications Specialist will partner with Purchasing Power stakeholders to develop strategic communications plans and materials and serve as internal communications back up as needed. (This is a 20 hour per week engagement).

What You Will Do:

* Assist with bi-monthly Townhalls as needed and own the production of the monthly employee newsletter for Purchasing Power

* Create or coordinate the appropriate mix of communication tools for each plan: written content, presentations to internal and external audiences, e-mails, and other tools as needed

* Incorporate change management best practices to ensure employees understand, accept, and adopt changes in a timely and engaged manner

* Provide effective content development and execution ensuring that company-related communication materials meet editorial standards for accuracy, readability, clarity, and brand

* Lead the content development for regular client deliverables including the quarterly client newsletter, client events, and/or special client projects as assigned by the VP of BtoB Marketing

* Work with Senior Manager, Public Relations, and Director of BtoB Marketing to create a Consolidated Calendar

* Provide marketing event support as needed

* Other duties as assigned

The Experience You Will Bring:

* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field

* 5+ years of experience in Corporate Communications

* Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Excel, PowerPoint)

* Experience working in a Financial Services or HR environment (preferred)
