Other majors may be acceptable with sufficient accounting/business experience (2 years).Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance*Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of various phases of acquisition managementKnowledge of federal and DoD contracting principles (Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DoD Directives and Instructions, laws, regulations and procedures)Draft, generate, interpret, review, negotiate, and manage contract documents and proposalsExperience managing contracts to ensure compliance to contract termsPrevious work in accounting, tax, contracting, or contract administration in a Government (or complex commercial) contracting environmentAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsStrong written communication skillsPossessing an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance**Obtaining a U.S. Government security clearance involves a comprehensive background check.
