About the Position:The Associate Change Specialist - Configuration Management position is one of several roles in the CM organization that contributes toward the important work of managing accurate technical data packages, driving compliance to contract requirements, putting both internal and external customer needs first in a dynamic and fast paced environment. This position is responsible for steering Engineering changes through the system with accuracy to final release in accordance with CM standards utilizing Teamcenter Product Lifecycle management.Responsibilities to Anticipate/Expect:
- Receive & enrich problem reports
- Derive Change Requests (CR)/Request for Variance (RFV), entering initial attributing/information and prepare for processing through the Change Process
- Prepare Engineering Change Order (ECO) package for delivery to customer
- Support Engineering Release Record (ERR) deliveries to customer
- Promote CR/RFV to approved once change process is complete
- Derive Change Orders (CO) from the CR entering initial attributing/information and prepare for processing through the CO process
- Progress COs through to completion after all reviews are complete
- Support Change Specialist 1 activities as required
- Maintain accurate Configuration Management (CM) files and records
- Interface with Design Services Project Coordinators to ensure that Configuration Control activities are in sync with the priorities of key projects / programs
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline but will consider other candidates with other disciplines based on experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar technical support role, with background in Teamcenter highly desired
- Microsoft office proficient
- The candidate will need to have strong written and oral communication skills
- Able to work overtime when required
- Able to bring continuous improvement processes and methodologies to the position
- Must be a U.S. Person (i.e. a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.)
