The Contracts Administrator/Paralegal will provide administrative and paralegal support to the North America Kontron group legal department. Key responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of contracts, corporate documents, and correspondence, as well as managing contracts and addressing other legal matters. This role reports directly to the North America Corporate Counsel. This is a hybrid position.
Duties
- Support the Corporate Counsel in various areas such as but not limited to contracts, company policies, legal requirements mainly in the defense business and general US corporate law along with ITAR, CMMC, and government contracts requirements.
- Participate in the drafting and revision of customers and suppliers' contracts.
- Conduct research on legal issues on different topics such as FAR and DFAR regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather contract information, requirements and specifications.
- Assist in providing legal advice and services to all internal departments.
- Prepare and maintain contract templates.
- Prepare and maintain different corporate documents needed.
- Participate in the development of policies and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience is required in commercial law and in the defense industry.
- Education: associate degrees, bachelor's degrees or postbaccalaureate certificates
- Knowledge: Efficient with all Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Teams)
- Profile: Strong knowledge in legal drafting and writing, ability to work in a team, ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, initiative and autonomy. Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills for document review.
