Job Overview: Under the supervision of the CFO- Accounting Manager, the Contracts Coordinator will develop, coordinate, plan, implement and manage contract complliance and quality assurance.
Responsibilities

- Develops, coordinates, plans, implements and manages contract compliance and quality assurance functions.
- Prepare billings for all HUD, HHS, State, County and City in accordance with respective deadlines for review and process by the Accounting Manager.
- Performs accounting functions for grants and contracts in reStart's accounting software (currently QuickBooks), including reports and information entry.
- Meets or exceeds all grant accreditation and/or regulatory guidelines and deadlines.
- Produces monthly costs sheets for review by Managers.
- Ensures compliance of grant draws.
- Fosters and ensures positive, collaborative relationships within and among all staff and board members associated with the overall operations of agency funding contracts, including local community leaders, regulatory entities, state, federal and local governments, and related constituencies.
- Ensures the timely and accurate production and distribution of reports and related compliance information as necessary and requested by reStart management, the Board, funders, grantors and related external resources.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or business administration.
- Accounting or bookkeeping experience a must; QuickBooks software experience a plus.
- Demonstrate a high level of problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge and success with funding sources associated with various and related social programming initiatives.
- Experience with grant funding in a nonprofit work setting a must.
- Must possess ethics and integrity beyond reproach that would be well represented by reStart.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a culturally and socioeconomically diverse population of participants, service providers and staff.

Hours needed:
Monday through Friday, normal business hours. Flexibility on hours, when needed.
