This temporary position is located in Raleigh - Wake County. Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $30.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application). This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Servies. This position is located at 5505 Six Forks Rd., Raleigh, NC 27609. The primary responsibility of the Contracts Coordinator is to organize and manage the development of contracts for the full Injury and Violence Prevention Branch. This means working with all three units of IVPB: Operations Unit, Prevention Unit, and Epidemiology, Surveillance and Informatics Unit. This includes gathering materials, forms, and data, preparing agendas and logistics, and preparing contract documents.   • Demonstrated proficiency using NCDHHS Open Windows for contract development.
  • Knowledge of general public health efforts in the injury and violence prevention field.
  • Ability to manage development of contracts including the creation and modification of a Scope of Work that matches project requirements and grant funder parameters, budgets and their justification, and clear performance measures for tracking and monitoring contract deliverables.
  • Ability to plan and manage multi-faceted and specialized projects, often with competing timelines.
  • Skilled in organizational and time management to coordinate among multiple types of staff members from Operations to Programs to Contracts.
