We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager (or Legal Contract and Procurement Manager) to joinour dynamic team at Conduit Power. In this role, you will oversee legal contract management and support procurement activities, while also handling invoice processes. If you have a background in legal contract management, procurement, and some invoice management experience, this is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact in the growing energy sector. You will:
- Manage, review, and negotiate legal contracts and agreements related to procurement ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Collaborate with legal and engineering team, external vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure contracts align with business goals and legal requirements.
- Oversee the procurement lifecycle, from vendor selection to contract execution, ensuring alignment with project timelines and organizational goals.
- Engage with engineering, construction, and operational teams to understand project requirements and incorporate them into contracts.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement contracts, purchase orders, and other essential documentation, ensuring timely renewals and compliance tracking.
- Assist in invoice management, including processing, validation, and resolving discrepancies between contract terms and invoiced amounts.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and participate in negotiations to secure optimal terms, pricing, and contract conditions.
- Monitor contract performance and supplier compliance, providing analysis and reports on contract adherence, risks, and opportunities for improvements.
- Support the development and implementation of enhanced procurement and contract management protocols to improve efficiency and control.
- Ensure that all legal and regulatory standards are followed in contract creation, execution, and vendor management.
- Develop and maintain documentation control systems, ensuring accurate tracking and storage of contracts and procurement documents.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers, achieving favorable agreements.
- Conduct regular audits of procurement processes to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Requires 5-10 years of experience in legal contract management, procurement, or related fields, preferably within technical industries such as manufacturing or energy.
- Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes, with the ability to manage vendor relationships, contracts, and negotiations.
- Experience with invoice management, particular reconciling invoices with contract terms and addressing discrepancies.
- Managed procurement activities for engineered products/solutions, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Proven ability to navigate complex contracts, understand legal terms, and collaborate with legal counsel and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency with contract management systems, procurement software, and ERP systems.
- Developed supplier performance metrics and conducted evaluations to ensure quality and compliance with contractual terms.
- Coordinated logistics operations, overseeing the transportation and distribution of goods to meet project timelines.
- Maintained accurate records of shipments and inventory, ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to handle multiple contracts and projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate legal and procurement concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in business, law, engineering, or related field.
