HID Global is currently seeking a Contracts Manager to support HID's Legal and Corporate Affairs division. HID's products secure access to both physical and virtual places for a broad range of industry and government use cases, driving diverse and complex contracts. A solid working knowledge of commercial transactions is required for this position.

As ourContracts Manager, you'll support HID's successby:

  • Managing the legal intake and triage process
  • Evaluating and providing initial feedback on questions and issues escalated to the legal team
  • Collecting and distilling information and feedback from business stakeholders
  • Reviewing and negotiating legal documents, including but not limited to, non-disclosure agreements, master purchase agreements and procurement contracts
  • Escalating complex issues to the appropriate internal legal resource
  • Developing and implementing processes and procedures to streamline the contracting process
  • Compiling and maintaining existing templates and advise internal business teams on how to leverage existing legal templates and processes
  • Maintaining orderly and up-to-date files and assisting in locating and evaluating contracts on-file
  • Scheduling and attending internal business meetings as an active participant to ask questions related the legal function, report on information learned, and/or follow-up on any legal action items
  • Creating and giving in-person and virtual presentations to stakeholders
  • Performing administrative tasks as assigned

What we will love about your background:

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat DC, etc.
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
  • Proficiency with Sharepoint, Teams and other similar co-working tools preferred

YourExperienceand Education include:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience considered.
  • A minimum of 5-6 years' experience as a Contracts Manager or Contracts Administrator is required; in-house legal department experience preferred.
  • Experience independently reviewing and providing feedback on commercial contracts is required.
  • Experience with software licensing and/or SaaS solutions is preferred.
  • Experience working with global teams is preferred.
  • Eager to learn and independently undertake important and impactful projects.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills and demonstrated follow-through on project management, including ability to anticipate needs through knowledge of past transactions.
  • Strong communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as a member of a team.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks received simultaneously.
