The Contracts manager is fully responsible for creating, tracking, and distributing all contracts. This includes contracts, change orders, and purchase orders for Consulting and Construction disciplines. The Contracts Manager will track and manage all contracts in LandDev software.Your Key DeliverablesContract Support:
  • Assist the Vice President of Land Development, Director of Land, and Project managers in the preparation of contract bidding documents and management of documents.
  • Prepare bid spread sheets in Microsoft Excel format.
  • Prepare and process contracts and contracts change orders.
  • Enter final contract documents in DocuSign and track through execution.
  • Establish and maintain electronic contract files.
  • Interact with contractors, consultants, and other project team members.
  • Enter budget and contract data into LandDev system.
  • Support Land Team with project setup, workflow changes, and tree creation within the LandDev System.
  • Create LandDev purchase orders.
  • Code and route invoices and check requests through APR and/or LandDev.
  • Work with internal departments and trades to troubleshoot issues.
  • Autodesk 360 Administration - Add new contractor and consultant users, create username/password at the time of bid and manage access to plan files.
  • Attend and lead weekly contract team meetings.
  • Create job cost reports in InformXL and LandDev.
  • Attend project site meetings monthly.
  • Become familiar with industry terms and general project construction requirements.Training & Team Support:
    • Facilitate trade training by conducting meetings and training sessions with new and existing trades on BRP process & procedures.
    • Lead new team member training by conducting meetings and training sessions with new team members on BRP Land process & procedures.
    • Prepare supplemental training and update materials to facilitate internal and external LandDev accessibility.
    • Serve as primary point of contact for all land contracting questions, basic LandDev technical inquiries, and other land team administrative concerns.
    • Support the Accounts Payable Department with land invoices inquiries.
    • Facilitate prompt payments and function as a liaison between vendors and accounting on billing/contract questions/issues.Must Haves
      • 3 - 5 years of experience in construction purchasing with a preference in land development related work.
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
      • Willingness to guide, train, and mentor team members.
      • Strong diligence.
      • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot questions.
      • Ability to work independently under limited supervision.
      • Extremely organized and able to manage multiple projects at once.
      • Requires proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) with an Excel emphasis.
      • Proficiency in LandDev software is not necessary. Training will be provided for this customized land development software tool.
