The incumbent works effectively with various internal departments, all levels of management, the customer, external legal partners, and others. The successful candidate can identify, articulate, and capably respond to nuances in customer contracts and agreements and solicit input from various internal departments in a timely fashion. Additionally, this candidate is responsible for working with our legal partner to upload, tag, and pull reports for the sales team related to existing contracts in the ContractWorks platform.
The Contracts Specialist has responsibility for the business aspect of customer contracts working closely with the Content Marketing Manager to review redlines from our legal partner to ensure a customer-friendly version is ready for timely submission with RFPs or outside the RFP process and keeping the Vice President of Marketing abreast of any considerable risk negotiations.
HYBRID/REMOTE: Tyndale supports a strong work-life balance. This opportunity requires onsite work a minimum of 1 day per week, and 4 days per week remotely. To be considered, candidates must reside within a commutable distance from our Tyndale headquarters in Pipersville, PA (Bucks County) or our location in Houston, TX.
Ensures high quality, accurate, and timely responses to requests related to contracts (including master service agreements, amendments, purchase orders, etc.) and data security questionnaires from customers and prospects. This candidate must monitor the contracts group inbox to respond to, track, and prioritize requests. This member will coordinate review of contracts by our legal partner and provide clear expectations related to level of mark up and any specific requests or requirements from the customer/prospect. This member collaborates with content, pricing, and Tyndales legal partner to ensure changes align with internal policies, practices, procedures, and any requirements outlined by the customer. This candidate should be prepared to review the contract at the same time as the legal partner to ensure all language that requires additional review is prioritized and sent to various departments in a timely fashion for feedback and insight. Candidate must review the final redlines from legal to ensure alignment, consistency, and should add customer-friendly comments as necessary to explain our business position related to any changes or applicability. Additionally, this candidate is responsible for communicating contract requirements to internal groups to ensure a seamless implementation for new accounts. Once contracts are finalized, they should be saved and uploaded to ContractWorks with appropriate tags.
