Control Engineer
: Job Details :

The position involves working in an Optical Fiber manufacturing plant, where you'll be responsible for managing IT-related software associated with critical manufacturing processes, troubleshooting automated control systems, and working closely with both engineering and operations teams to optimize processes. You'll also be involved in key projects and support the manufacturing execution systems (MES) while providing technical guidance and support on a 24/7 production schedule.

Work Location: 310 N College Rd, Wilmington, NC, USA, 28405

Travel Requirements: Minimal (0-10%)

Hours: 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day

Here are a few key highlights of the role:

• Strong programming skills in C, C#, or VB.Net
• Experience with SCADA systems (iFIX or similar), PLC programming, and industrial automation
• Working knowledge of low voltage electrical troubleshooting, REST APIs, and web applications
• Experience with relational databases like Oracle or SQL Server
• Ability to support on a rotating on-call basis
