Position Title: Control Room Attendant-D ShiftPosition Type: Regular - Full-TimePosition Location: OthelloGrade: Scale 04_NONURequisition ID: 33089Control Room AttendantD Shift (Graveyard)SUMMARYMonitors PLC (RS View) to ensure areas are responding as specified for all three (3) production lines. Acts as eyes and ears for the factory-notifying operators and supervisors of any problems in the line operation.NATURE AND SCOPE* Responsibility to monitor work areas, watch for suspicious behavior and report any concerns regarding unidentified visitors and/or unauthorized personnel.* Authority to question and take appropriate measures regarding the safety of themselves, other employees, products, and equipment.* Responsibility of maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the food processing facility, especially where any raw or finished product is produced.* Authority to report and/or eliminate hazards to the safety of the food that is produced in the facility.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Answers incoming regulatory and emergency calls and relays information to the appropriate personnel and/or department.* Communicates and coordinates with operators in all departments.* Observes and analyzes incoming data from operators.* Maintains logs for line parameters log book..* Adjusts controls to set specified rates per instructions received from supervisor.* Communicates with operators about changes in the line by supervisor.* Notifies supervisor and operators when problems or changes in production occur.* Monitors and records vital information into a report or data sheet on a regular basis.* Performs standardized clean up during plant downtime and on a daily basis.* Performs Code 9 in case of fire, making appropriate notifications for Emergency Response Team.* Performs Code 8 in case of ammonia spill, making appropriate notifications for Emergency Response Team.* Maintains down time report and transferring that information to the Shift Manager shift summary report.* Attends and participates in all annual, departmental, and job specific required training and monthly informational meetings.* Understands and adheres to the concepts and techniques of the quality process in order to ensure a quality operation.* Attends and participates in all annual, departmental, and job specific required training and monthly informational meetings. The employee may be required to successfully complete the orientation and training provided during the first ninety- (90) days of employment.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED).Hourly Range: $20.50-$22.78 USD hourly + BonusThe above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting.
