A 6 month contract-to-direct opportunity is available for a Control Specialist based in Santa Margarita, CA with the opportunity to transition to direct hire with benefits. Start is ASAP.Read on to find out what you will need to succeed in this position, including skills, qualifications, and experience.Responsibilities:Designing, developing, installing, managing and/or maintaining Automation Systems used in a renewable solar facility.Ensure the reliable, efficient and safe operation of all controls & measurement systems.Oversee the entire lifecycle of a solar farm construction projects. Coordinate with cross functional teamsReview process and equipment design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards and contract requirements and specifications.Provide technical and consultancy support on instrumentation and controls system and project activities for maintenance, operations, engineering and procurement.Qualifications:Experience managing and configuring A-B PLCs.Understanding/experience managing projects such as site expansions or equipment upgrades.Knowledge of various types of electrical and instrumentation uses and devices, electrical systems, knowledge of asset and work maintenance systems and other general knowledge of technical applications and equipment.Effective oral and written communication skillsEffective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.Hourly Rate along with reimbursement of Travel & Living expenses will be provided during the contract portion of this job.
