Controlled Environment Technician/Cleanroom Field Service Technician

Field Service Technicians specialize in the testing and certification of cleanrooms, biosafety cabinets, laminar flow devices, laboratory fume hoods and all types of critical controlled environments and equipment. Individuals shall have customer service experience, independent problem solving ability and mechanical / electrical skills. Field Service Technicians work in cGMP and critical environments in accordance with our own and client Standard Operating Procedures to provide the skill sets and knowledge that regulatory compliance and validation is met. Field Service Technicians must share our passion for excellence and complete customer satisfaction and care about what they do. Ideal candidates will have experience in Cleanroom & HEPA Filter Certification, Indoor Environmental, Mechanical or HVAC / TAB Technology.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School or Trade School Graduate
  • Minimum 1-year customer service experience
  • Basic math skills including knowledge of geometry and algebra
  • Valid driver's license and clean DMV driving record
  • Ability to pass drug and background check
  • Technical, mechanical and electrical experience in an industrial and commercial environment is essential
  • Be an honest, reliable and hardworking individual who can work in a team or independently
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Duties:

  • Travel to customer sites to conduct environment and equipment operational performance evaluations
  • Overnight travel is required for some projects
  • Maintain training skills and use of various types of analytical test instrumentation
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems in field testing situations
  • Services are performed within NEBB, IEST, ISO 14644, CETA and NSF 49 Procedural Standards and industry best practices
  • Responsible for the completion of all required project documentation and on certain projects maintain cGMP documentation compliance

Compensation details: 25-28 Yearly Salary
