The ideal candidate will have experience as an accountant in the manufacturing industry, preferably in a senior role. As a strong communicator and skilled financial analyst, this person will streamline their budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.Responsibilities:
- Planning, directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions
- Generate financial reports for senior leadership
- Monitor and analyze balance sheets, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Monitor taxes and provide details for audits
- Work with external tax firms to ensure accurate and timely processing of both domestic and international tax situations
- Assist in annual financial reviews and bank related audits
- Assist and train direct reports
- Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes
- Developing and monitoring business performance metrics
- Manage Finance & Accounting function
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of relevant experience in an Accounting/Finance role
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong technical, analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
- Strong organizational and management skills
- Ability to see the big picture while focusing on the process and procedures necessary to produce deliverables
