Are you ready to travel the world?Key Responsibilities:A successful Controller - Base Maintenance Material will support the efficient completion of heavy maintenance and modification activity by ensuring the timely delivery of required materials.Responsible for the fulfillment of all required material to support scheduled maintenance visitsIdentify material requirements and determine the best method for obtaining materials, utilizing on-hand company inventory and/or best sourcing practicesCoordinate and ensure on-hand material availability to meet strict scheduled timelinesSource, Purchase, Monitor, Track, Update and Close Purchase Orders as needed to support your Aircraft's requirementsAddress and resolve purchase order, paperwork, and shipment discrepanciesSetup internal part numbers to accommodate new demand and ensure compliance within our United internal systemsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with our suppliers and internal United repair shopsCoordinate and monitor shipping and provide shipping status updates to the necessary customersTransfer, Monitor, Track and Update internal material Stock Transfers as needed to support your Aircraft's requirementsIdentify trends and potential supply chain issues and collaborate with business partners to resolve the issue and/or improve the processCoordinate with internal Inventory departments to ensure future inventory plans can support the scheduled maintenance demand moving forwardProblem solve and research alternative means to meet demand requirements when neededCoordinate with internal and external business partners to determine the correct part(s) are being requestedEnsure compliance with all Corporate and Government regulated manualsProvide management oversight to ensure that the supplier is adhering to its specific contractual terms and conditionsAttend all audit and other necessary meetings for the aircraft you are supportingAdditional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesQualificationsWhat's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):Associate's Degree in aviation management, supply chain, procurement, business or related fields, or comparable work experienceMinimum 2 years' experience in Materials Management, Materials Coordination or Supply ChainMicrosoft Office proficiencyStrong internal and external communication skillsAbility to work independently in a remote settingMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the positionWhat will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):Experience as an AOG or Base Logistics coordinatorAviation knowledge
