We have openings in our Canton office. The role of a Controller requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. CPA Certification is preferred. Four year's general accounting experience (including budget preparation, Medicare cost report and financial audit preparation). As a member of our CRS team, you will have the opportunity to improve the quality of life for our patients by delivering one-on-one clinical guidance and support.Benefits:Competitive 2024 Market Value Salaries.4% 403B Employer Gifted Contribution.3% Merit and 4% Bonus Increase Potential.10 Paid Holidays, and 2 Floating Holidays.Up to 4 week's vacation time.Gym Membership Stipend.Affordable Medical, Dental & Vision Plans.Employer-paid Life Insurance.Employer-paid Long-Term Disability.Continuing Education Stipend up to $500.Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Strong human resource and managerial skills.Ability to rank order numerous projects and deadlines.Need PC skills including operating computerized accounting system.Working knowledge of GAAP.Ability to function within double entry accrual based accounting system.Ability to function closely with Executive Director and Board of Directors.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.Ability to analyze financial data and prepare management reports.Ability to communicate clearly to interact with staff, clients, administration, and the community both in person and on the telephone.Current Oklahoma Operator's Driver's License and a good driving record acceptable to the insurance company insuring the agency vehicles.Example of Position Responsibilities:Draft agendas and minutes for Finance Committee Meetings.Prepare and implement Annual Financial Budget.Supervise and participate in all A/R, G/L, A/P, and P/R functions.Provide oversight on fiscal management of facilities (owned/leased).Authorize all payments to vendors.Oversee all agency insurance coverage except employee benefits.Complete special projects at the Executive Director's request.Close monthly accounting activity and prepare financial reports.Ensure timely engagement and completion of agency annual financial audit.Ensure timely renewal of all financial contracts (Medicare/Medicaid).Serve as purchasing agent for the organization.Be responsible for all inventory control.Develop and oversee risk management plan/policies and procedures, including oversight of emergency/safety protocols.Provide oversight on housing leases.Oversee HUD 811 financial matters.Support and promote a service environment for individuals in need of behavioral health and/or co-occurring services that are recovery focused, welcoming, and attentive to the needs of individual's who may have experienced trauma in their lives.Practice and promote the Sanctuary Model's seven commitments; nonviolence, emotional intelligence, social learning, open communication, social responsibility, democracy and growth and change.Promote and use all appropriate Sanctuary tools and S.E.L.F.Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.Physical Requirements: Must be able to move from location to location, bending, stooping, lifting 25 pounds, communicate clearly, prepare written communications, present information to other employees, process complex information within established procedures/programs, enter data to various programs.Required Training:New Hire Orientation Annual Diversity TrainingAnnual Harassment Annual HIV TrainingAnnual Workplace Violence Annual HIPAA and Confidentiality TrainingAnnual Safety & Fire TrainingHIPAA: This position is permitted to locate information necessary to follow through with the position responsibilities (i.e. looking for a signed consent, locating insurance information.
