  • Oversee all financial operations including full cycle accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Implement and maintain all financial controls and systems within the business, identifying and recommending potential operational efficiencies and improvements to working practices and procedures.
  • Utilize CMIC software for project management, ensuring all projects are financially on track.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and risk analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards.
  • Provide leadership and support to accounts receivable and accounts payable departments.
  • Manage the preparation of payroll for personnel.
  • Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report.
  • Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance.
  • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget.
  • Direct and coordinate the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and investment decisions.
  • Work with department managers to develop five-year business plans.
  • Assist in establishing short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Coordinate financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, or CPA) is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in CMIC software and project management is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and financial compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with an ability to communicate and manage staff at all levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
  • Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to relocate if needed.
