Seeking a new CONTROLLER for a NON-PROFIT based in the Bronx, NY whose mission is to enhance the well-being and quality of life for those in need of help by meeting the interim needs of people of all ages. Assist the CFO and Directors in planning, organizing, directing and enforcing all fiscal and administrative policies and procedures that the Bookkeeping must adhere to.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing financial policies
• Overseeing the accounting staff
• Ensuring compliance with financial and accounting regulations
• Preparing and managing budgets
• Managing financial reports and documents, such as balance sheets and income statements
• Handling preparation for tax returns
• Performing financial risk assessments and doing internal audits
• Assisting with corporate financial decisions
• FUND-EZ, Passport and SOFA-Billing (State Office Agency) experience

Experience:

Degree in Finance or Accounting

3-5 Years in a leadership position for a non-profit accounting department

Salary: $85K-$100K
