DescriptionConstruction client is seeking an experienced and strategic Corporate Controller to join their dynamic team. They are located in Manhattan and are in the office full time/5 days a week - so are seeking locally based candidates only.The Corporate Controller is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's overall accounting operations including corporate accounting, project accounting, monthly close, financial statement preparation, audit function etc. They will report directly to the Company President and work cross-departmentally to implement internal controls and financial procedures.Key Responsibilities: Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate standards and regulatory requirements. Coordinate all audit activities. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles to safeguard assets. Manage project accounting and ensure accurate financial reporting and control on projects. Provide leadership to accounting teams, ensuring clarity in process and function.
