They are looking for an enthusiastic, organized, highly analytical and detailed individual that can work with minimal supervision supporting business activities in the US and Mexico.Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for month end close, budgeting, forecasting, and assisting with external audits.
- Review working capital and cash flow needs.
- P&L review of gross profit and indirect/direct expense analysis
- Facilitate intercompany clearing and transaction analysis
- Supervise and oversee accounting team.
- Review, develop and evaluate internal control policies across budgeting, cash, and financial reporting.
- Work with external tax, audit, and compliance agencies to support US and Mexico interests.
- Consider and develop improvements such as ERP consolidation, credit/collections, electronic invoicing and more.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field: master's degree or CPA certification preferred. Logistics industry preferred but not required.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with 3+ years supervisory.
- Advanced Excel and database skills.
- Advanced experience with ERP systems; MS Dynamics and/or Cargo Wise.
