This includes preparing financial statements, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the gym's growth and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting:Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.Monitor and report on financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all financial reporting.Budgeting and Forecasting:Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts.Track budget performance and identify areas for cost control and optimization.Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making.Accounting and Compliance:Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.Manage external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion.Financial Planning and Strategy:Assist in developing financial strategies to support business goals and growth.Analyze financial trends and market conditions to inform strategic planning.Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.Cash Flow Management:Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity for day-to-day operations.Implement effective cash management strategies to optimize cash utilization.Team Leadership:Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff.Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial management role, ideally within the fitness or hospitality industry.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and budgeting.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Interested in hearing more?
