Exciting Sportswear Company is looking for a Controller*Nesco Resource, a national staffing company, is seeking an experienced Controller.*$100K - $140KResponsibilities:
- Manage financial operations, including General Ledger, Financial Reporting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and account reconciliation.
- Lead and mentor accounting staff, providing feedback and supporting professional development.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable, establish credit terms, and monitor collections, including international credit.
- Manage Accounts Payable, authorize vendors, and approve payments.
- Review and analyze sales, inventory, cost of sales, and gross margins, working closely with related departments.
- Forecast cash flow (short- and long-term) and manage banking relationships, financing, and bank covenants.
- Develop and manage budgets, rolling forecasts, and financial projections, coordinating with other departments.
- Prepare detailed business analytics in collaboration with Sales and Operations.
- Develop business metrics, KPIs, and internal reporting for senior management.
- Oversee international financial operations and manage gross margin analysis and inventory costing.
- Coordinate audits, reviews, and maintain relationships with external auditors.
- Develop financial and tax strategies to ensure compliance with government reporting and tax filings.
- Maintain accounting policies and procedures and supervise contract negotiations.
- Identify and report financial risks; recommend performance benchmarks.
- Evaluate financial systems for accuracy and control, recommending improvements as needed.

- Proficient in financial and reporting systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work professionally with diverse personalities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; able to align with organizational priorities.
- Decisive and results-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in high-pressure settings.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration (CPA preferred).
- 10+ years of relevant experience, ideally including work with major retailers.
- Experience in both public and private sectors is a plus.
