Controller Austin, TX 78701 Hybrid position, 4 days in and 1-day remote POSITION SUMMARY The Controller manages the organization's financial operations, ensuring resource efficiency, financial stability, and alignment with mission goals ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Oversee daily financial operations Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures Create annual budgets and forecasts with the CEO Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports Conduct financial analysis to support strategic planning Handle invoicing, accounts receivable, and billing Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations Manage month-end closes, financial audits, and tax filings Assist CEO with revenue development planning QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors in accounting, finance, or related field (MBA preferred) CPA or relevant certification preferred 10 years of financial management experience, preferably in nonprofit Proficiency in QuickBooks, HubSpot, Microsoft Excel; advanced reporting tools a plus Knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles and compliance SKILLS: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Collaborative and detail-oriented with integrity and confidentiality We are an equal opportunity employer, and we are an organization that values diversity.
