If you want to join an industry-leading company that focuses on your professional growth and development, we'd love to hear from you!The Plant Controller is a business partner with the division General Manager as well as a member of the plant leadership team which drives the development and attainment of business strategies and goals. The Controller reports directly to the General Manager and functionally to the Director of FP&A.What You'll Do:
  • Direct, plan, and coordinate the plant financial functions including financial statement reporting and analysis, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Manage monthly financial close.
  • Prepare assigned monthly journal entries (including all related to inventory).
  • Ensure that all general ledger accounts are reconciled monthly.
  • Prepare bank inventory reporting monthly.
  • Bridge actual results to forecasted and budgeted using company schedules.
  • Provide support for the Weekly Operations call including a 3-month outlook on Sales & EBITDA.
  • Maintain adequate payable and receivables systems.
  • Maintain current knowledge of company policies and procedures and current accounting standards.
  • Prepare and implement yearly standard cost updates.
  • Provide business case evaluations for capital projects.
  • Participate in cost reduction activities, ensuring that financial objectives are clear, and results can be tracked and reported.
  • Manage annual audit activities.
  • Work with external auditors and tax teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What We Need From You:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 3 to 5 years in a Controller role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP.
  • Leadership, mentoring, and team building skills.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • ERP experience along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent oral, written, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed records.
