We offer competitive compensation and benefits. Position is full time and hybrid. Role and Responsibilities
- Maintain schedule and utilization of PTO and company observed holidays
- Track, analyze, and reconcile timesheets
- Process and pay vendor and contractor invoices
- Process employee payroll
- Assist with general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records in Deltek
- Provide bank account reconciliation
- Provide credit card and expense processing
- Prepare financial and analytical reports and identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements to enhance profitability
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, utilizing Deltek software
- Maintain and edit existing policies and procedures
- Assist in the month-end closing procedures, reconciling accounts, reviewing journal entries, and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards
- Assist with internal and external audits, as well as compliance reviews by regulatory agencies, providing documentation and support as needed to demonstrate compliance with payroll laws and regulations
- Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes, enhance system efficiency, and improve internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance in multi-state payroll processing

- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
- Five (5) to Eight (8) years of experience in financial accounting.
- Experience obtaining tax identification numbers (TINs) for new states and registering with state tax agencies.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Intermediate to Advanced level (minimum 3-5 years) working with Deltek Costpoint system
Preferred Skills
- Quickbooks experience
- Multi-state payroll processing experience
- Intermediate to Expert Level Microsoft Excel Skills
- Five (5) to Eight (8) years of experience in government contracting
