WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee our company's financial management and reporting. The Controller will be responsible for managing our financial operations, developing and monitoring budgets, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in financial management and a strong understanding of accounting principles. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Manage the company's financial operations, including, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management Leading a finance team, facilitating weekly 1:1 and meetings, reviewing tasks and providing daily support Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annualfinancial statements Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations. Oversee the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financialProfessionals Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency andaccuracy Willing to travel quarterly to attend leadership offsite meetings; additional travel may be required as needed THINGS YOU HAVE DONE IN THE PAST Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance CPA or CMA certification preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management with accounting focus Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations Proficient in accounting software and financial reporting tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills THINGS YOU WILL BE GRADED ON Accuracy and timeliness of financial reports Gross profit margin against target Budget variance analysis and effective corrective action Accounts receivable: DSO and percent past due of 25% or less Effective performance of assigned staff If you feel even more excited about this opportunity after reviewing ALL of that, and believe that you have what it takes, we want to learn more about you!
