Vaco is working with a large healthcare organization seeking a Controller that offer incredible potential for professional growth. In this role, you will manage all aspects of accounting and cash management for a $150M nonprofit agency with services in CT and MA. You will report to the CFO and be part of the Leadership Team. In this role, you will: * Provide leadership to accounting, cash management, and payroll functions and staff* Develop and monitor accounting and payroll management systems to meet changing needs of the agency* Manage and monitor all accounts and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements* Issue timely and complete financial statements under GAAP* Assure compliance with federal, state and local tax regulations * Drive continuous improvement* Prepare financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected financial position.Your background: * 10 years of progressively responsible experience within a large system or department* Non-profit human service experience strongly preferred* CPA or CMA designation preferred, not required Enfield, CT, US On-Site October 22nd, 2024 Health Care and Social Assistance Vaco $ 150000.00 - 160000.00 yearly direct hire
